The Didactics of mathematics students learn about historical and contemporary views how to teach mathematics at primary school. Didactics of mathematics is divided into general didactics of mathematics, which is not bound by a specific mathematical content, which is part of the training program Teaching Mathematics I and special didactics of mathematics that is bound to a specific mathematical content, which is part of the training program Teaching Mathematics II. In the context of mathematics education are discussed history of mathematics.
Students can: - To characterize the history of school mathematics and describe their development, including the contemporary, - Describe the creation of mathematical concepts and to characterize their scope and content, knows the concept of a mathematical classification and basic concepts theorem and axiom, - Characterize didactic principles in the teaching of mathematics and apply them in the teaching of mathematics, - Use integrated design and projects in the teaching of mathematics, - Use deduction, induction and intuition in mathematics, - Use algorithms and programmed learning in mathematics and applied computer technology to support teaching of mathematics education in the field of mathematics and its applications.
