Course content
1. The importance of scientific topics. Science content and its characteristics in the curriculum (FEP). 2. Educational man and his world, educational content and outputs. Third teachers' beliefs about teaching subjects about nature and society (diagnostics own conception, as a prerequisite for change). 4th competence of the teacher natural history subjects. 3. Active construction pupil knowledge in science teaching. Children's concepts and their diagnostics. Constructivist teaching. 4. Use of motivation and activation of pupils in the early science education. Process, types and nature of motivation in science education. Active learning methods. 5th Field instruction in science teaching. Walks and excursions, their implementation options possible pitfalls. 6. Integrated teaching. Integrated Curriculum and Integrated Thematic Instruction. Use of the conceptual and mind maps. 7th Designing teaching using educational curriculum analysis. Analysis of conceptual and relational, operational and curricular analysis. 8. Determination of goals thematic units, topics h. Formulation of objectives of general, specific and subtasks along with the terms of their performance and the performance standards pupil 9th Methodological and factual analysis of selected content units -astronomické current science curriculum. 10th Methodological and factual analysis of selected content units contemporary science - physics curriculum (variable). 11. Developing key competencies of students in the educational field. 12. Implementation of cross-cutting themes in the course, the educational area Man and His World. 13. Development of key competencies of students in the educational field 14. Presentation of the course of study - the presentation of the student's portfolio.

Student has in course of preparation to acquire such competencies that will enable him to break away from the mere presentation of subject matter in textbooks and help him to create lessons in which they are interconnected knowledge into meaningful units in which the pupils themselves (their own active learning activities) will appear facts, context and generalization. Methodically lectures and seminars are designed so that students gain experience with different approaches to teaching and different teaching strategies. The course built on interactive methods and team work of students. Attention is also paid to the various concepts of designing curriculum, organizational forms, methods of work, selection of appropriate motivation, tools, evaluation of students, teaching and possibilities of using computer technology.
Students understand the content and location of natural science in the curriculum; formulates the main and sub-goals of science teaching, learn the technical terminology; understands and applies appropriate teaching methods and appropriate organizational forms in relation to the objectives of teaching; understands the basic patterns, relationships and correlations science curriculum and is able to adequately considering the age of the pupils, the general requirements of curricula reflected in practical activities (in planning curriculum, preparing for lessons and outings, projects etc.); adequately utilizes various teaching methods and resources for teaching science is capable of selecting suitable and in some cases even their own work (eg. presentations, videos, photographs, charts, worksheets, etc.), implements the teaching of cross-cutting themes; integrates the knowledge of various scientific disciplines; able to take advantage of the educational value of scientific topics.

Required is a 100% attendance at seminars and active participation in the seminar, which relies on the development of the tasks of the study materials.
