Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the major events of Czech history to 1914. Students should obtain knowledge about the development of Czech society in the European context and the causes and consequences of the steps of Czech political representation. The seminar will be based on the cooperation of students in the preparation of individual topics so that in the work to understand the value of history not only as part of the knowledge base, but also as an opportunity to acquire a critical approach to present information.
After completing the course the student will be able to focus primarily on the causes and consequences of various historical events and roles of historically significant personalities.

Assessment methods and criteria
|

100% participation in contact teaching; Essay on the topic of some of the major historical events + a methodical process - ie. 8 pages theoretical part + 5 pages methodological section.
