Learning outcomes
Subject Arithmetic Methodology I, together with the subject Arithmetic Methodology II in the summer semester 2nd year prepares students for their teaching in the primary school in terms of acquiring numeracy skills and didactic methodological experience. During the lectures, students will gain the necessary information in an integrated system, the exercises are used to solve mathematical problems, experimenting, discovering mathematical connections and creating math problems. In the didactic aspect of teaching is committed to the principles of didactic constructivism style of teaching the subject tries to future educational work of students to pass elements of mathematical discovery and creation.
Students can: - Identify and use logical connectors, set operations, to apply these skills in their own school teaching practice, - Define, recognize and give examples of their own properties sessions, display and arrangement, - Identify the characteristics of standard and non-standard mathematical operations of the acquired information to learn structure with one or two operations, - Construction of the theory of natural numbers, - Use divisibility in creating mathematical tasks, - Convert positional number system.
Prerequisites
Completion of Mathematics I and Mathematics II.
