- Work with data of different character (tables, charts, etc.) - transcribing data from one type of representation into another, - extracting information from data, - digitizing data. - Fundamentals of algorithmization and programming. - Compilation of individual steps of symbolic writing of algorithms, reading of programs, their testing and debugging, orientation in block-oriented children's programming language. - Sorting commands, working with programming structures: cycles, conditions, subroutines. - Working with objects, running programs by events, communication between objects. - The basics of working with robot builders and toys (building and reviving the robot, creating a robot program, working with sensors). from one type of representation into another, input of data from the data. - Models describing reality. Image digitization, text encoding.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to acquaint future teachers of elementary school with the basics of programming, data processing and robot construction. Students learn to work with different types of data, algorithmize and program at elementary level, use abstraction and generalization to solve problems.
The graduate will be able to: - work with data of different character (nominal, ordinal, interval) and present these data in tabular, graphical and quantitative terms; - Understand formal records of data, based on the data of the statement; - Describe the problem in its own words and can select the essential properties of the subject or phenomenon for the creation of the algorithm; - to explain the steps of the symbolic writing of the algorithm; - Design a computer program in a child-oriented block language to solve a simple problem and modify it for a similar problem; - test program, detect and fix errors; - Recognize repeating patterns and conditions - Create cycles and branching; - use command sorting, repeat subroutines, and run event programs; - work with robot builders; - program the robot activity; - to lead programming and robotics at elementary school.
