Course content
1. Introduction to the course, an introduction to the aims and content, with a recommended expanding literature. Students will be communicated to the credit requirements and principles of the presentation of the essay. Part of the syllabus are areas for testing. 2. Speech Therapy in education (speech therapy as a science, speech therapy instead of other sciences, historical context of care for people with impaired communication skills). 3. Organization of speech therapy in our country. 4. Ontogenetic development of speech, language and stage of development conditions for the proper development of speech. 5. Disorders of communication skills 6.Symptomatic speech disorders 7. Faults voice and vocal hygiene 8. Psychological peculiarities of language-impaired children 9. Integration of children with speech impairments between intact population 10. Phonetics and phonology (sounds phonetic classification of the Czech language, speech technology, practical exercises) 11.Speech prevention in preschool and early school age 12. Presentation and evaluation of seminar papers students 13. Evaluation of teaching, credits

Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with basic information about speech issues in relation to the possibilities of use in teaching practice and competencies of preschool teacher in mainstream and special kindergarten in the field of care of the development of speech and communication skills of preschool children. This course will focus on the conditions of development of speech, ontogenetic development of speech, pathology of speech development, basic information about failures of communication skills, their etiology and symptomatology, specifics of educational work with preschool children for which the communication failure occurs. Part of the content will also be doing practical activities related to the development of language skills and communicative skills of these children. Student describes ontogenetic development of speech of preschool aged children, appoints the optimal conditions for the development of speech, masters basic information about failures of communication skills, their etiology and symptomatology, applies theoretical knowledge into school practice, creates favorable conditions for the development of speaking skills and communication skills of preschool aged children.

Credit requirements: - active participation in the workshop - seminar work. Seminar work 1. The student will prepare a set of exercises for developing language skills and communicative skills of children in kindergarten. 2. Prepare a plan for the development of individual speech capabilities for the selected child will be able to present and justify the procedures selected child labor with respect to the type of communication disorder. Seminar work will be handed to the teacher by the agreed deadline.
