Course content
The course is fixed at 6 pm. Contact teaching. Topics marked ztučněným letters will be implemented within the contact teaching. Other topics will be the subject of a separate study by study materials and study literature listed as: Table of Contents: 1. Introduction. Characteristics předčtenářského period. RVP for preschool education. 2. Work educator by RVP / SVP PV in literary aimed hours in practice. The choice of the means that lead to the čekávaných outcomes in preschool education. 3. Listening of literary activity aimed at kindergarten, minutes of listening. 4. Analysis of literary-oriented activities in kindergarten. 5. Preparing teachers to literary activities aimed at kindergarten 6. Specifics of work with children's literature in kindergarten. Scientific literature devoted to the methodology of work with children's literature in kindergarten. 6. Problems of preschool education in the field of child and his psyche. Child and literary text. Verbal art and literature for children. 7. Children's folklore and works with children's folklore texts with children in kindergarten. 8. Verse poets for children and work with texts artificial poetry with children in kindergarten. 9. Folk tales for children. Characters, types and importance of fairy tales in preschool education. 10. Fairy tale in preschool education. Guidelines for working with copyright fairy tales in kindergarten. 11. Reputation in preschool education. Guidelines for working with legends in kindergarten. 12. Magazines for small children. Guidelines for working with magazines in kindergarten. 13. Illustrations in books for young children. 14. The use of illustrations, diafilm, animated films, puppet and cartoon films in kindergarten.

Learning outcomes
Discipline follows the course Literature for Children I from the winter semester. The aims is to familiarize students with basic issues of children's literature and offer them inspirational procedures, methods and forms of work with preschool children in literary-oriented activities. Attention is paid to the interpretation of selected literary texts of literature for children and illustrative works of the artists of children's books and the issue of animated, puppet and film adaptations of texts and literature for children of preschool age. Student can name, describe and explain the basic features, principles and concepts of literary and educational training in kindergarten by RVP PV, the student is able to orient in literature for children of preschool age and is able to evaluate its importance for development of personality of the child in preschool education. Student can characterize specific procedures, methods and forms of artistic literature in kindergarten, which lead the child to the expected outcomes according to RVP PV. In the area of skills can student solve problematic phenomena relating to the interpretation of literature for children in pre-school education. Students are able to productively use theoretical knowledge in their work with children's folklore, poetry, art for children, fairy tales and legends in preschool education. Student demonstrates an ability to work creatively with literary texts, is able to design, evaluate and analyze various methods and forms of artistic literature, student chooses appropriate methodologies (including alternative approaches) to achieve the expected outcomes / goals by RVP / SVP PV. Student can also create and to elaborate preparations for the literary-oriented teaching, coordinate various activities in the classroom, teach based on literary works corresponding to the pre-school aged child and create appropriate supplementary materials and aids for literary specialized instruction.
In the area of student knowledge can name, describe and explain the basic features, principles and concepts of literary and educational training in kindergarten by RVP PV, able to navigate in literature for children of preschool age and is able to evaluate its importance for personality development of the child in preschool education. They can characterize specific procedures, methods and forms of artistic literature in kindergarten, which lead the child to the expected outcomes according to RVP PV. In the area of skills listener can solve problematic phenomena relating to the interpretation of literature for children in pre-school education, is able to productively use theoretical knowledge in their work with children's folklore, poetry, art for children, fairy tales and legends in preschool education. Demonstrate an ability to work creatively with literary texts, able to design, evaluate and analyze various methods and forms of artistic literature, choose appropriate methodologies (including alternative approaches) to achieve the expected outcomes / goals by RVP / SVP PV. Assessment methods and criteria

Active participation in contact teaching. The student works according to the study materials and compiled in accordance with the tasks that cast by the tutor within a specified time. The method of assessment tasks is verbal. Based on the overall positive assessment will be awarded to a student (credit).
