Course content
The course is fixed at 6 pm. Contact teaching. Topics marked ztučněným letters will be implemented within the contact teaching. Other topics will be the subject of a separate study (8 hrs.), According to the study materials and a list of the literature. Table of Contents: 1. Rhetorical minimum for teachers. 2. Communication verbal. 3. Mechanisms involved in the formation of speech. 4. Modulation of coherent speech. 5. Principles Czech orthoepy. 6. Defects speech and language disorders. 7. Nonverbal communication. 8. Technique speech and practice in educational practice. Basics of verbal and nonverbal assertiveness. 9. Speech education in kindergarten and its importance in preschool education. Methodological principles for the development of speaking skills in preschool children. 10. Methods and forms of work while learning their mother tongue in kindergarten. Practical exercises speech (articulation and voice). 11. Development of coherent speech of preschool children. Recitation in MS - importance for the development of rhythm, intonation. 12. Selection prose for children in preschool education. Preparation, training and implementation recitation prosaic text in kindergarten. 13. Selection of poetry for children in preschool education. Preparation, training and implementation recitation of poetry in kindergarten. 14. Evaluation significant recitation of prose / poetry to children in preschool education.

Learning outcomes
Students in this discipline comprehensively acquire training in speech and significant recitation for the needs of their professional practice, they develop skills promptly and correctly respond to various communication situations and selected texts suitable for reading or working with in a kindergarten. Students are deeply familiar with the principles of Czech orthoepy, pronunciation style and pronunciation defects, with different methods and forms of work in order to cultivate children's linguistic manifestations in a playful and spontaneous way. Attention is also paid to non-verbal means of expression, breathing (respiration) and voice (phonation). Student can name, describe, explain and evaluate the basic properties of speech and a expressive recitation in terms of their future profession, characterize specific features of acoustic of Czech ( including Czech orthoepy, the principles and techniques of speech and the most common speech defects), describe and analyze the acoustic coherence of speech, ie. the correct speech articulation and modulation. At the same time is the student able to explain and analyze specific features of communication in the field of early childhood education and assess their importance for professional practice. In the area of students' skills, students can in terms of their professional pedagogical specialization design and manage the methodology of speech skills and recitation skills. Students can correctly assess and identify defects in the speech of children, choose appropriate texts for working with children in kindergarten, to assess the suitability of different working methods in acquiring the mother tongue in preschool education and analyze the most significant difficulties of communication with children in kindergarten. Students can simulate and analyze vocal exercises designed for children of preschool age, students are able to express themselves clearly, plainly, comprehensibly and in a sophisticated way.
