Course content
Contents: 1 to 2 Pre-school education, its objectives and tasks, the relationship between preschool education to other sciences and pedagogical disciplines. 3 to 4 Caring for children of preschool age in the period before the JA Comenius. 5 to 6 Personality and work of Jan Amos Comenius (especially the pedagogical work - School of Infancy, Orbis pictus, The Great Didactic). Educational system J. A. Comenius. 7 to 8 Pedagogical thinking about pre-school education in the concept of J. Locke and Rousseau. 9 to 10 JH Pestalozzi and R. Owen and their image of preschool education. 11 to 12 The beginnings of public pre-school education and training system JV Liberty and F. Froebel. 13 to 14 Pre-school education at the beginning and in the first half of the 20th century (reform movement in pre-school education in the world and us.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to create an overview of the development of pedagogical theories based on philosophical, social, political and historical circumstances of the historical development with a focus on pre-school education. Students will be encouraged to do to be able to critically inspect the various conceptions of teaching personalities. Emphasis is placed on the concept of personality-oriented preschool education. Study the subject of Pre-School Education I in this context is understood as a complex subject, which goes on holistic understanding of the general context of the educational process. The historical development of the child's education and serves as a necessary foundation for understanding the complex relationship of other educational disciplines.
Student characterized by individual and social importance of education, explains the concept of education for the 21st century, knows and is able to characterize the most important personalities and historical milestones in the development of pedagogical thinking and up to date for today's time and society. Student further controls sufficient range of incentives, exposure, fixation and evaluation procedures, creates opportunities for application of learned in practical situations. They are prerequisites for any successful communication with wards manifesting interested in this issue.
