Course content
The course is determined by 5 ours contact teaching. Topics marked ztučněným letters be delivered within contact teaching. Other topics will be the subject of a separate study (9 hrs.) Based on compulsory and recommended literature: 1. Introduction to the course, course content, requirements for credit, study literature. 2. Pedagogy as the science of education (Development and definition of pedagogy as a science. Relationship pedagogy to other sciences. Teaching discipline). 3. Education and training - the basic educational categories. 4. Upbringing as a social phenomenon. Social Determination education. The influence of education on society. 5. Education and Human Development. The role of various factors in human development, educational guidelines. 6. Educational process and its regularities (systemic approach to education, the stages of the educational process). 7. Educational objectives and their changes 8. Ingredients education as a presentation of the content of education. 9. Educational resources, forms and educational methods. 10. General concepts in education. 11. Some alternative education programs. 12. Educational system and educational institutions. 13. Profession of teacher / teacher school facilities. 14. Evaluation of teaching and stored works, test.

Learning outcomes
The sensitivity of child's to nature is fast developing as early as preschool age. It is therefore for nursery teachers, in this regard had a positive effect on their charges. Ideal form in this case is directly a short stay in the nature or use the real object of nature in Nursery school. The course exploring nature focuses on the acquisition of skills associated with the above aspects. As part of the joint consultation with students graduating from a short excursion aimed at exploring the closest natural environment and use of nature found here. The aim of course is practice and extend some practical knowledge of Natural listeners. The course program is focused mainly on normal cognition of nature, to manipulate them and their appropriate use in working with children Students will be able to make a proposal a several activities in nursery school, focusing on wildlife, recognize common representative fauna and flora of the Czech Republic (100 defined organisms), navigate the terrain using tourist maps, present in the field of biological material.
Student characterizes individual and social importance of education, defines the various educational categories, explains the concept of education for the 21st century (competencies for life), explains the challenges and current trends in pre-primary education, describes and explains the concept of education system. It focuses both theoretically and practically in the basic concepts of education and alternative educational programs. It characterizes the basic requirements for the teaching profession, job description and responsibilities of teachers in kindergartens, the importance of self-reflection for professional and personal growth.
