Course content
In the course is determined by 5 pm. Contact teaching. Topics marked ztučněným letters will be implemented within the contact teaching. Other topics will be the subject of a separate study (9 hrs.) According to the study materials and a list of the literature. Table of Contents: 1. Public discourse and its preparation. Rhetoric in terms of diachronic and synchronic. Particulars of public speeches. 2. Current Czech language and culture. Literary and informality. Institutional language and speech education. 3. Standard and codification. Codification Manual. 4. Language culture and linguistic correctness. 5. Formality and sophistication of public communication. 6. Basic concepts. Steady-state forms of modulation of coherent speech - word stress, sentence stress, stress, sentence intonation. 7. Voice. 8. Speech rate and distribution of pauses. 9. Body language. 10. Equipment and principles used to practice a significant recitation. 11. Specific means of spoken language in the teaching profession. 12. Nature, preparation and training of continuous speech. 13. Implementation of speech and distinctive presentation. 14. Evaluation of speech and distinctive presentation.

Learning outcomes
The aim of discipline is to provide students a sorted comprehensive knowledge of the language in the Czech environment and culture of speech to the needs of their professional practice. Students are deeply learn the basic terms, the aural aspects of coherent speech, ie. The right of speech articulation and modulation. Attention is also given to contemporary Czech language rules of standard, language culture, norms and codification. The aim seminar is practical training utterances (prepared and unprepared) based on theoretical knowledge, cultivation of speech of students, creating a habit of self-control and conscious correction of deficiencies in expression, application of correct speech habits in educational practice with an emphasis on reading, speech technology with distinctive pronunciation and appropriate use of prosodic speech means. Through modeling exercises, students learn to use audio, morphological, lexical, syntactic and stylistic devices useful in specific communiqué (different genres) monologue and dialogic nature, learn to assess their own speeches and speeches and others to assess the suitability / unsuitability used language resources. In the area of student knowledge can describe, explain and evaluate the basic issues and problems of the most important concepts related to contemporary English language and culture, name and describe the basic characteristics of public of speech, justify and analyze specific features of communication in the Czech environment and evaluate their importance for the Professional Practice . In the area of student skills can be assessed from the point of view of their professional focus as suitability held communication (verbal, nonverbal, and paraverbal) and analyze the most important pitfalls on the basis of model situations. Can use sound, morphological, lexical, syntactic and stylistic devices useful in specific communiqué (different genres) monologue and dialogic nature assess their own speech and expressions of others and to assess the suitability / unsuitability used language resources. Students will be able to clearly, clearly, clearly and politely express, can anticipate reactions and respond to them, and select appropriate methods, specific methods and adequate linguistic resources, adequate communication situation.

The student works according to the study materials and drawn by her exercises and tasks that cast by the tutor at a predetermined date in writing or as audio recordings on CD. The method of assessment tasks is verbal. Based on the overall positive assessment will be awarded to a student (credit).
