Learning outcomes

The course presents in English language the survey of the British and US political life and institutions, It compares the British, US and Czech political establishment, traces relevant discrepancies and similarities in their political and institutional environments.
Participants expand their communicative competency in English, discuss particular issues, compare the systems of both countries, apply the knowledge about the institutions of Great Britain and the United States when analyzing the Czech system, identify differences in their political systems.
