Learning outcomes
|
The course deals with current problem of Czech politics. It therefore focuses on a wide range of topics related to both the institutional set-up of Czech politics and its real functioning. In addition to focusing on individual institutions of the Czech political system and their problematic functioning, it also deals with the problems of individual actors in Czech politics. Attention is paid not only to domestic Czech politics, but also to possible problems arising at the supranational level of governance, especially within the EU.
The student is able to use professional terminology. The student is able to characterize the main problems of Czech politics. The student is able to explain the institutional problems of Czech politics and their influence on the behavior of individual actors in Czech politics. The student will acquire the ability to formulate their own proposals for solving problems of Czech politics.
