1. Norms, conformity, deviation and pathology 2. History of approaches to social pathology 3. Theory of social control and labelling 4. Welfare state and its possibilities 5. Learning outcomes

The student will gain knowledge of basic approaches to the study of social pathology. They will learn the terminology of social sciences related to pathology and learn to use it correctly. He will gain basic knowledge about current pathological phenomena and an overview of the possibilities of state policy, how to respond to these phenomena.
