Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to deepen the understanding of modern rationalist philosophies on the example of the philosophical system of B. Spinoza; to improve the ability to interpret a philosophical text and to practice verbal and written presentation skills.
Student will deepen his knowledge of modern philosophy, improves his proficiency in the interpretation of philosophical text and trains his verbal and written presentation skills.

Assessment methods and criteria

In order to to obtain the credit, oarticipation in seminars is required; active involvement in the discussion; paper on an agreed topic based on literature, presented in class, at the length of 15 minutes; and writing a seminar paper in critical reflections of referring topics in the range of 3 to 5 standard pages, sent to the teacher in electronic form.
