Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the theory and real manifestations of social pathologies, such as the abuse of psychotropic substances, homelessness, social exclusion, or interethnic tension. The course will also focus on state policy and its possibilities in this area.
Students will learn about basic approaches to examining social pathology. They will master the terminology of social sciences, regarding pathology and learn to use it correctly. Students also gain basic knowledge on current pathologies and survey of state policy, how to respond to the phenomena.
