Course content
1. Presentation of the course, credit requirements. 2. Verbal communication - intonation, voice, speech. 3. Rhetoric - the ancient speakers, celebrities. 4. Nonverbal communication I. -posturology, gestures, facial expressions. 5. Nonverbal communication II. - First impression, eye contact, haptics. Etiquette. 6. Managing stress, fear, speech defects and bad habits. 7. Time management Creation of habits and change. 8. Ethics in presentations. Content and packaging. 9. Presentation programs, support programs, utilities for presentation. 10. Creating presentations II. - Basic rules, flipchart. 11. Creating presentations III. - Scheme, structure, background, fonts, images, charts. 12. Presentation in practice I. 13. Presentation in practice II. 14. Feedback

Learning outcomes
The course aims to teach students the basic rules of creating presentations and subsequent presentation. The first part of the course will focus on communication and public performances. In the second one, students learn various techniques of stress management. The third part will be focused on creating of presentations and selected programs which can be used in its creation. At the end of the course students on the basis of subject matter create their own presentations, which will be evaluated and discussed. The selected speeches of different personalities will be presented within each lecture.
