Learning outcomes
|
The course deals with a detailed analysis of an artwork from both the theoretical and practical point of view, and shows the plurality of approaches to interpret an artwork. It gives basic information about tendencies in art theory, about schools and streams characteristic especially for 20th century up to the present day, which have influenced the current practice for analysis and interpretation. It provides their basic terminology and creates a view of an artwork as a multivalent and at the same time conceptually graspable phenomenon.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
