The course is designed to encourage students to be interested in studying disciplines of master's programs, represents the basic specifics of fields of study - Education for Citizenship and Foundations of Citizenship and Humanities.
Students will acquire the following: - knowledge of curriculum and instructions and its classification in the system of educational disciplines - knowledge of the specifics of fields of study of Education for Citizenship and Foundations of Citizenship and Humanities - basic skills, how to transform academic knowledge into the curriculum of Education for Citizenship at Elementary School, Foundations of Humanities at Gymnasium and Foundations of Humanities at Secondary Schools according to the principles and strategies of contemporary curricular materials - basic knowledge of curriculum understanding of basic issues of Humanities - basic skills in using activating methodological approaches to achieve expected outcomes in different fields of study the expected outcomes of different fields of study. |

During the course, students will create a portfolio, which will be compiled of all written outcomes from individual lessons. The test will be based on the discussion between students and a lecturer about these outcomes and preparation of a teaching unit. It will be worked out by the student after the last module; In the second part, students will answer one drawn questions related to the course content. To obtain a credit: 1. Students will have a maximum of two excused absences 2. Students will work out their tasks for students who were missing 3. During an interview, students will defend their written outcomes and preparation of teaching units; test |
