The aim of the course is to become oriented in basic grammatical phenomena and basic vocabulary so students can read and translate selected ancient Greek texts (e.g. Aristotle's Categories). During the first term, students should master the first five lessons from the textbook C.W.E Peckett, A.R. Munday, A New Greek Course.
Student will get acquainted with the following academic skills: - Uses grammar and vocabulary in the range of 1 to 5 lessons from the textbook - C.W.E. Peckett, A.R. Munday, Thrasymachos: A New Greek Course - Is able to read and translate simple Greek texts |
