The course will get students acquainted with the historical overview of basic philosophical conceptions of time and space (especially Aristotle, Augustine, Kant, Hegel, Husserl, Heidegger). It will be related to interdisciplinary relations with philosophy of mathematics, physics, geography and aesthetics. The course will present the current alternative theory of space and time.
Learning outcomes: Students will acquire the following academic knowledge: - can define the basic philosophical concept of space and time - can interpret texts related to the topic space and time - can explain interdisciplinary overlaps of philosophy and mathematics, physics and geography |
