Learning outcomes
The content of the course is a guided reading of selected works of contemporary philosophy discussion. We choose a few basic texts and we work together to interpret them. Students become oriented in the latest issues and philosophical approaches giving a presentation of primary and secondary literature.
Student will extend his/her knowledge of contemporary philosophy, can understand the ideas of philosophers, can apply to current problems and can interpret the meaning of the texts studied in the context of the whole work of their authors.

Assessment methods and criteria

Writting an essay about selected passage from texts that were discussed during the course. This written essay (min. 5 pages) will be the subject of oral verification of understanding of the primary text.
