Learning outcomes
The content of the course is a guided reading of selected works of modern philosophy discussion. When reading their papers of secondary literature, students will get acquainted with modern interpretations. The aim is to deepen the understanding of modern philosophy and learning to interpret texts in the context of the whole work of their authors and period of origin.
Student is able to interpret the meaning of the texts studied in the context of the whole work of their authors and specifics of time, they came into existence. And in a deeper way, he/she understands ideas of philosophers and is able to bring them up to date with the current secondary literature.

Assessment methods and criteria

To obtain a credit: student is required to attend the seminars; be actively participated in discussions; work out the paper based on an agreed topic based on recommended literature, presented in class, at a length of 15 min; a written seminar work in the form of critical reflection of a topic in the range of 3 to 5 pages sent to the teacher electronically.
