Seminar reading: finishing Jan Patočka's Socrates and reading of a selected Plato's diaogue, probably the Euthyphro or the Meno.
Learning outcomes: students will acquire the following academic knowledge: - can read and interpret primary text and confront it with the interpretation of secondary literature - can interpret Plato's dialogue and give an explanation and criticism of arguments - can use academic terminology and explain basic philosophical concepts |
