Lecture Topics: (2 hours / week) 1. Radiology as a medical field, X-rays. 2. Contrast agents, reactions to their administration and treatment of allergic reactions. 3. Skiagraphy and fluoroscopy. 4. Computer tomography. 5. Ultrasonic diagnostics. 6. Magnetic resonance imaging. 7. Interventional radiology. Basics of nuclear medicine.

This subject is theoretical. It acquaints students with professional activities and contents of fields: radiodiagnostics, radiology and nuclear medicine, interdisciplinary cooperation and radiation protection.
Professional skills: It is able to take care about patients before and after the imaging examination. General competences: The student is oriented in the problematic of the radiology and nuclear medicine, he / she knows risks for patiens. |
