Lecture Topics: 1. week: Individual socialization. 2. week: Socialization mechanisms. 3. week: Socialization agents. 4. week: Social pathological phenomena in the society. 5. week: Prevention of social pathological phenomena. 6. week: Social group, definition, classification. 7. week: Group structure and dynamics. 8. week: Social role and position, professional deformation and prevention. 9. week: Family and its development. 10. week: Family pathology. 11. week: Addiction issues.

Learning outcomes
The subject consists of the knowledge covering psychological disciplines: general psychology, personality psychology, development psychology and broaden student's understanding of issues of health psychology and social psychology. The special focus is put on mental health of women and children, including prevention of negative states in the society.
Subject knowledge: Student knows the questions regarding social development of an individual, social integration. He is able to define a social group and define its structure and dynamics. He differs between factors threatening human life and he is able to eliminate them by means of prevention. He knows family issues and the influence of a family on healthy development of an individual and his/her relationships. Professional skills: Student is able to manage a social group and lower the negative effects of group dynamics. He is able to apply and develop the principles of mental health and take into account the profession and the problems of functional and dysfunctional families.
