Lecture Topics: 1. week: Kidneys and urinary routes diseases: urinary system and kidneys infections, urine production and excretion disorders. - 2h 2. week: Kidneys and urinary routes diseases: acute and chronical kidney failure, renal hypertension, tumours. - 2h 3. week: Blood and hemopoiesis: diseases of the white blood component, leukaemia, diseases of the red blood component, bleeding diseases. - 2h 4. week: Motoric system diseases: inflammations and degenerative diseases of joints and spine, collagenoses, osteoporosis. - 2h 5. week: Diseases of the inner secretion of glands: hypophyse and hypothalamus diseases, the diseases of thyroid gland and parathyroid glands, the diseases of the suprarenal glands. - 2 h 6. week: Acute states influenced by the diseases of glands with inner secretion - 2h 7. week: Intoxication and elimination methods - 2h Seminar Topics: 1. week: Health care after the patient with urinary system and kidneys inflammation of- 2h 2. week: Health care after the patient with acute and chronical kidney failure (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis) - 2h 3. week: Health care after the patient with anaemia and trombocytopenia - 2h 4. week: Health care after the patient with leukaemia - 2h 5. week: Health care after the patient with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis. - 2h 6. week: Health care after the patient with thyroid and parathyroid glands disease.- 2h 7. week: Health care after the patient with a disease of cortex and marrow of the parathyroid glands - 2h

The subject is theoretically-practical. It is a part of a complex set of subjects in clinical health care. It characterizes clinical states in inner medicine from the point of health care and patients' needs which are changing because of internal diseases. The subject introduces the specifics of diagnostics in the field, the treatment and the care after the patients in internal fields.
Subject Knowledge: Student knows the causes, aetiology and symptoms of internal diseases. Student knows basic procedures of diagnostics and treatment of the diseases in inner medicine. Student is able to describe the specifics of health care after the patients with internal diseases. Professional Skills: Student is able to create the plan of health care considering the context of the disease specifics in internal medicine. Student is able to create, realize and evaluate the education plan for teh patients with selected internal diseases. |
