Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the quantitative approach to research, specifically in the area of health care, with emphasis on selected statistical processing of the information obtained. The course aims, among other things, to provide students with practical guidance on how to proceed with the preparation of a bachelor thesis.
Expertise: The student knows the basics of statistical description and analysis, knows the appropriate terminology. Professional Skills: The student knows how to collect statistical data, record it electronically and process it by computer using elementary statistical methods. The student is able to interpret the results, either their own results or those obtained through research activities, in an adequate manner. General competences: The student understands the relevance of scientific work to their field of study and is able to apply the principles of scientific work in their field.
