Topics of lectures: (2 + 2 hours / week) Internal disciplines 1. History. An overview of the main symptoms of internal diseases. Obtaining data from the patient. Family, social, pharmacological, personal, allergic, gynecological history. 2. General condition of the patient, state of consciousness, body temperature, skin findings. Mental state of the patient. Development and growth. Nutritional status. Patient's location. Standing, walking, movements of the patient. 3. Examination of the head and neck. Physical examination of the chest. 4. Physical examination of the abdomen. Physical examination of limbs 5. Examination methods in cardiology, pneumology, gastroenterology and hepatology. Surgical disciplines 1. Introduction to surgery, specifics of care. 2. Evaluation of the patient by a doctor, taking a history, evaluation of objective and subjective symptoms of the patient. 3. Physical evaluation of the patient by a doctor, specifics in surgical fields. 4. Physical evaluation of the patient by a doctor, specifics in surgical fields. 5. Examination methods in surgery. Exercise topics: (4 hours / week) 1. Evaluation of the patient, taking anamnesis, evaluation of objective and subjective symptoms of the patient. 2. Physical assessment I. - general condition, head, neck, chest. Physical assessment II. - limbs, spine, abdomen, lymph nodes and reflexes. 3. Preparation and care of the patient's client before and after the examination I. - imaging examination methods radiodiagnostics, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound and radionuclide examination methods. Preparation and care of the client's client before and after the examination II. - electrographic and functional examination methods. 4. Selected specifics of preparation and care of the patient before and after examination in surgical fields. Nursing documentation in surgical fields. 5. Monitoring and evaluation of patients with pain, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of pain.

|
Expertise: The student knows and is able to describe the symptoms and symptomatology of individual systemic diseases, modern diagnostic and examination methods, knows the patient's preparation for individual examinations and has knowledge of physical examination by a nurse and a doctor in clinical medicine. Professional skills: The student understands the basic clinical concepts and is familiar with the basic examination methods. Clinical pharmacology acquaints students with basic knowledge in this area, with the issue of desirable and undesirable effects of drugs, their monitoring is one of the basic duties of a nurse. The student is able to perform physical examinations. General competences: The student is able to clearly and convincingly communicate to experts and the general public their own professional opinions.
