1. year: Individual training I.: The training is organized at long- stay acute and after care medical facilities of, the aim of the subject is integration and improving the knowledge and skills from theoretical part of education; it covers the organization of work when providing health care. Students will know the structure of hospital services and special departments. They will study how to evaluate and satisfy the needs of patients, environment (material, personell), which is sufficient regarding the needs of an individual. Students will improve their skill of the evaluation of individual health condition and clients' needs from the point of health care. Students will also know the specifics and organization of work at the departments, cooperation with a team, medical documentation administering and providing health care by a certain nursing process.

Students obtain practical experiences in practice, which are importatnt for their professional developement and understanding to differences in comforting needs of healthy, ill, handicaped and dying patient and client. Individual practice is organized by students individualy on the bases of contractual agrrement between university and particular institutions of primary, secondary and tertiary care.
