Learning outcomes
The subject is part of the complex of basic study prerequisites and its content builds on the knowledge acquired in anatomy. The aim of the course is to understand the basic physiological functions of the human organism (physiology of the cell and individual body organs, basic physiological manifestations of the organism, physiology of the stress response when feeling threatened, fear and anxiety).
Expertise: Student demonstrates knowledge of the basic principles of the human body (tissues, organs, organ systems) and orientation in the composition of organ systems and their importance for humans. Professional Skills: Student is able to describe the functioning of the various body systems, can orient in human body, recognize basic tissue types, and identify the location of human organs. General Competencies: Student is able to implement acquired professional knowledge and professional skills in the nursing process.
