Learning outcomes
The subject provides basic information concerning the subject of biophysics. It introduces students to the use of biophysics in the field of medical diagnostic and treatment methods. Students get basic information about the physical differences of individual methods and their biological effects. The aim of the course is to introduce students to selected areas of biophysics - basic knowledge of physics and issues of its use in medicine.
Expertise: The student will acquire and know the basic terminology, knowledge and essence of biophysical processes in the human organism. Professional Skills: The student will be able to explain from a biophysical point of view selected processes occurring in the human body and describe the principles of operation of physical devices with which student will come into contact in clinical practice. General competencies: The student is able to apply theoretical knowledge and skills in natural conditions.
