Students will acquire basic knowledge about discussed topics, they will practice critical analysis of various sources and presentations of the results of their research.

Prerequisites

Students are not supposed to have attended any courses previously. To pass the course students should be able to read and comprehend professional English texts.

Assessment methods and criteria

Regular course attendance (max. 2 absences) and preparation for individual lessons, active work with sources and participation in discussions within the course, presentation of a short paper on the selected topic (15 min.).
