Learning outcomes |
The objective of the course is to familiarize the student with the principal events, ideas, conflicts, and individuals of British history from the beginning of the English state up to the British Empire.
Participants expand their English language competence, discuss particular historical issues. Students are to develop the skills of thinking critically; that is, developing the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and to recognize the implications of historical events. Finally, this course seeks to help students improve their ability create coherent and persuasive arguments. |
