Course content
Topics of the seminars: 1. Introduction into the subject of use of geodetic method in documentation of monuments. 2. Use of geodetic method in combination with other modern methods of documentation. 3. Rules of work with total station. Centering, horizontation and orientation of the appliance. 4. Basic rules of making ground floor plans, sectional views and plans with help of total station. 5. Basic rules of 3D making of wire and terrain model. 6. Practical location of the ground floor plan with help of total station 7. Elaboration of the outputs of field location on the computer at school 8. Practical location of a sectional view with help of total station. 9. Elaboration of the outputs of field location on the computer at school 10. Practical location of front façade with help of total station 11. Elaboration of the outputs of field location on the computer at school 12. Practical location of the terrain and situation with help of total station 13. Elaboration of the outputs of field location on the computer at school 14. Handing in and evaluation of the previous work in the form of individually elaborated drawings.

Learning activities and teaching methods
unspecified, unspecified, unspecified
Learning outcomes
The student will learn the geodetic method of documentation of monuments not only in theory but also by practical field measurements. He gets basic overview of the possibilities to use this method in practice, also in combination with other documentation methods. He will be able to work individually with total station and later change the outputs into 2D drawing documentation and 3D wire model.
Knowledge of the function and use of geodetic measurement. The skill of measuring with total station and creating of images of the gathered data. Requirements for the credit: Individually elaborated drawing of a specific object with use of outputs from previous work with total station.
Prerequisites
The advantage is knowledge of working in the program AutoCad and building standards ČSN 013420, but it is not a condition.

Assessment methods and criteria
unspecified
Elaboration of a drawing documentation for a given object on the basis of the outputs gained by geodetic method.
