Course content
|
1. Introduction, assignment of a monograph for a review, preparation of an itinerary of the presentations. 2. Selecting of seminary topics, assignment of papers and preparation of an itinerary of the presentations (on a single topic the students will apply specific methodological approaches and interdisciplinary perspective - historical-anthropological, micro-historical, historical-demographic, historical-geographic, cultural-historical, etc.) 3.- 13. Presentation of single student's papers, discussion, presentation of reviews (to be specified according to the students' subjects and chosen topics). 14. Final evaluation of the seminar and signing in the credits.

The subject is part of a block from which the students choose when they want to study specific history field or cultural history. Its goal is to deepen the knowledge gained in the Bachelor study, mainly in the subject Introduction into the study of history and individual Historical proseminars and seminars with the intention to widen the studied issue and to prepare the students of the Bachelor study for the courses of theory and methodology which belong to the Master's degree.
The students will practically use the theoretical knowledge of single methodology and interdisciplinary approaches to the study of history by applying this to a specific topic. They will develop the ability of individual critical work and presentation of a given topic. At the same time they will develop their skill of critical approach to scientific literature in the preparation of a scientific review of an assigned monograph.

Attendance at the classes, writing a review on a given monograph, writing a seminary work on a selected and approved topic, presentation of the work at the seminar.
