1. Typology of written sources usable for construction history which are stored in the libraries, archives and museums of Czech Republic. 2. Lexicons, editions, archive tools and basic terminology in written sources used for construction history 3. Learning outcomes
The subject explains the range of basic archive sources that inform us about the origination and construction history of historical buildings.
Knowledge: Origination, evidential value, present day archiving of written sources suitable for construction history research. Skills: The student is able to research written sources usable for construction history research, he can interpret the Czech written sources. Habits: Evaluation of the evidential value of the written source for a specific research task, in this case the elaboration of archive search for construction history research of rural building.

Elaboration of written seminar work in which the student shows that he has the knowledge and skills of individual orientation in written sources suitable for construction history research.
