Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the methodological procedures of archaeology, the contribution of the field to our knowledge of the past, the specific testimony of material sources and the possibilities of their interpretation and presentation to the public.
After completion of the course, the student has a basic idea of the objectives or subjects of study of the field, as well as the methodology of work and other important aspects related to the field. The student is able to apply their acquired knowledge in the event that after graduation they join an organisation involved in e.g. archaeological conservation.
