Learning outcomes
This course introduces students to the development of art history from the early 20th century to the present. Attention is paid to individual artistic movements and important personalities of the period. The course includes a visit to an exhibition, permanent exposition or cultural monument.
Course graduates gain knowledge about the development of art in the 20th century. They are able to identify and date important works of art and buildings. They have a grasp of issues relating to individual art movements, schools and centres.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the course History of the fine arts V.
