Learning outcomes
The compulsory optional subject introduces the issue of oral history. The course will introduce the basic procedures of oral history, the history of the field and the possibilities of using oral history in historical research. The analysis of witness statements will be presented on selected examples. The course will also include the presentation of eyewitness testimony as a school historical source.
Students will become familiar with the functioning of the oral history research method. Students independently analyze the testimony of the witness. Students create catalogs of questions for working with eyeritness accounts. Students prepare prepare popularization and educational aids from eyewitness accounts. Students work independently witness.
