Conditions changed fundamentally during the Nazi occupation and in communist Czechoslovakia, when this entire social stratum was threatened with liquidation. Prosperity and prosperity under the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the first Czechoslovakia (agrarian party, cooperative traditions, rural community); The countryside under the Nazi occupation (war economy, resistance, persecution); The roots of injustice under the Third Republic (banning of the agrarian party, retributions, the Communist Party and the countryside); The Soviet model of collectivization and the JZD (government policy, illusions and tragedies, propaganda); Peasants against collectivization (resistance, forms of persecution, prison anabasis); Action "Kulak" - forced eviction of peasant families from their land.
