Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to confront students with a real school environment, to familiarize them with current issues in history teaching and modern educational technologies. A set of DVD recordings of teaching programs is used both for projection, subsequent analysis and evaluation by students, and as inspiration for the creation of independent student projects on teaching topics. An integral part of the course is cooperation with employees of the organization People in Need - One World in schools, primarily in the projects Crisis Areas of the World, Stories of Injustice and Holocaust. Students will become familiar with the project programs (documentary films, discussions with experts, eyewitnesses, and foreign mission workers). They will be provided with manuals and methodological guides containing, in addition to film synopses, instructions on how to work with documents, links to related information, and suggestions for possible questions and tasks. They will also become familiar with recommended accompanying activities, simulation game suggestions, worksheets, and other materials.
Students should become familiar with modern educational technologies, acquire the skills to work with current multimedia teaching aids and, above all, use them in the preparation and implementation of teaching programs.
Prerequisites
The subject is intended for students in the final year of study, therefore knowledge of didactic disciplines and specialized historical subjects is also assumed. Students should also complete continuous teaching practice.

Students are capable of reflection, analysis and evaluation within the framework of the above activities, they acquire the skills to work with modern educational technologies and multimedia teaching aids. The result is their independent projects (simulation of a teaching situation, PowerPoint presentation) - implementation of teaching programs, their presentation and defense.
