Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to acquaint studentw with the works of important Czech and international architects, and their theories and historical significance in the 19th and 20th centuries. It will also seek to describe the context of the times, strongyl manifested especially in architecture in the period under review.
The student is able to identify the characteristic features of historical architectural periods and styles, is able to date historical architecture in a general way, and knows the basic development of architecture of the 20th century.

Completion of the course Introduction to the history of architecture III.

Assessment methods and criteria

Participation in lectures with no more than three absences and study of the prescribed expert literature. Passing an oral exam is a condition for completing the course.
