Course content
Thematic blocks: 1. Basics of digital photography. 2. Introduction to photographic techniques. 3. Theoretical introduction to photo editing in software (Zoner Photo Studio, Adobe Photoshop, IrfanView). 4.?5. Practical exercises in the field and processing the acquired photographs. 6. Introduction to digital video processing. 7. The basics of working with technology, using drones for photo and video documentation. 8. Possibilities of post-processing recorded footage (Adobe Premiere, Windows Movie Maker) - data transfer to PC, working environment, rough editing of footage, motion transitions, effects, subtitles, sound, final export. 9.?13. Practical exercises in the field and processing the acquired materials. 14. Final evaluation of students? work For credits, the topics are combined into larger teaching blocks.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the theoretical and, primarily, the practical basics of digital photography and digital video. The practical part focuses on the acquisition and subsequent editing of digital media. Increased attention is paid to the possibilities for using digital media in the documentation of cultural heritage.
Course graduates acquire knowledge and practical skills that can be used in audiovisual and photographic activities aimed at the basic documentation or promotion of monuments, movable monuments, etc. In addition to working with recording equipment (still camera, video cameras, spherical camera, podcast studio), they also acquire competences in processing and editing recordings in the environments of relevant software and applications.
