The aim of the course is to motivate students to visit monumental objects (castles, chateaux, monasteries, churches, gardens, tombs, villas, etc.), as well as museums, galleries, monuments and other professional institutions dealing with history and cultural history. The emphasis is mainly on monuments in Northwest Bohemia, but some individual excursions can also be made in other regions of the Czech Republic or abroad. The course is intended to increase the interest of students in their studies and at the same time to deepen their professional outlook depending on the specific programme studied.
The graduate of the excursion has an extended orientation in the international context of historical, monumental, artistic and cultural issues.
