1. Basic concepts and problems of historical statistics, basic literature 2. Application of historical statistics in Czech and foreign historical science, development and presentation of concrete research outputs in modern Czech historiography 3. Methods of using statistical work in historical research, procedure and stages of statistical investigation 4. Types of source base and possibilities of their use in terms of historical statistics, procedures of their processing 5. Electronic tools for historical statistics (spreadsheet, database sw)

Learning outcomes
|
The course of historical statistics will be realized in close relation to the above mentioned course of historical demography. It will monitor the use of statistical procedures in economic and social history.
Students will understand the basic methodological procedures of historical statistics. He is well versed in terminology. They are able to apply procedures of work to statistical sources.
