Course content
Topics of each seminar: 1. Introduction, topics of master's theses, positive and negative examples. 2. Rules for editing the text - proof-reading 3. Preconditions of a successful presentation. 4. Creating an itinerary of student presentations. Creating a concept and schedule of students works. Searching for coherences. 5. Mind map. The concept of a thesis defence. 6. Possibilities of expert discussions. 7. Rules of a successful presentation. 8. -13. Presentation of students works (aims of the work, dividing, critical analysis of the published literature, sources and methodology used, partial outputs), ongoing discussion to single topics.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the advanced seminar course is to develop creative abilities and skills of the students, they will work with expert literature and sources, learn to write an expert text and prepare themselves for the writing of their diploma thesis. The course builds on the theoretical basis of the studies, the classes will be directed towards topics of diploma theses in which the students apply their theoretical knowledge in their topics of thesis. Knowledge of methodology and its deepening is of importance, especially in interpretation of sources and published historical literature for each topic of diploma thesis. Students are explicitly involved in the programme of the seminar and they refer about their ongoing work of the topic by presenting the key parts of their work according to a given schedule, they discuss them and defend their opinions in the discourse. In the first semester we pay attention to the formulation of the targets of the work, dividing of the work, critical approach to the published literature, sources and methodology used. During the seminar we cooperate with the thesis supervisor.
The student will strengthen his abilities to present and defend his concept and methodology of his elaboration of the assigned topic, he will be able to show the outcomes of his work and defend them in discussion, he will be prepared for the defence of his diploma thesis.
