Learning outcomes
On the basis of previous theoretical education the students will get practical training in various activities that are necessary for teaching history. The training introduces them into the reality of teaching history at Czech schools. The teaching runs in selected schools under the supervision of a training teacher in coordination with Center of pedagogic training, with a didact of history and other teachers from the Philosphical and Pedagogical Faculty of UJEP. Training can run also in the form of a course - a training camp. Training is a key activity in the university study of a future history teacher.
The student will be able to practice preparation and use of various types of material for practical use in the class, in the school or out-of-school surrounding (worksheet, discussion web, portfolio, presentation, test, group work, discussion, work with a movie sequence, excursion, etc.) The student can recognize and describe a specific situation in teaching history at a given school. The student cooperates with his teacher and other school employees. The student can create a thematic unit for teaching history and will elaborate one himself. The student can describe the issues of preparation for teaching a class, he can present the preparation and defend it. The student evaluates his own teaching style and practical preconditions for teaching.
Prerequisites
The subject follows the subjects of Introduction into didactics of history, Didactics of history I., or Interdisciplinary relations I., II,). The student can make use of the knowledge gained in the subject of General didactics. Similarly from other fields of pedagogy and psychology. He also makes use of information and skills from various Obligatory optional courses (PVK). The student should have knowledge of historical development in the scope of Bachelor degree and first year of Master's degree.

Assessment methods and criteria

The student will prepare and defend a portfolio from his training: 1. A report from the sitting on classes (scheme of the lesson, goals, atmosphere, observation of the given object) 2. an overview of the classes with objectives, it should be a thematic plan of a unit. 3. Two preparations for a class a) traditional, explanative b) non-traditional, using innovative methods 4A report of the state of history teaching in the given school 2. Description of assistant activity 3. Self-evaluation 4. Example presentation 5. Use of film sequence in the class The student will get a positive evaluation from his training teacher. The student will get a positive evaluation from his training coordinator or his deputy. The student is able to work with his training performance so that his pedagogical skills will get better.
