Learning outcomes
On the example of documentation of historical buildings students are introduced in techniques of record and depiction of information contained in material historic resources. Practical outcome of the course is processing these information for the needs of institutes dealing with our national heritage on particular objects of interest.
Core competencies: On the example of historical building documentation students get acquainted with techniques of record and depiction of information contained in material historic resources. Skills: The student can create a simple building documentation, an inventory of building components and details. He/she is able to use a total station, take timber samples for dendrological and dendrochronogical analysis, measure with thermal imager, moreover he/she can record and depict a profile and relief of the detail with handy scan, by profilation and frottage. The student is also able to create a photo plan using simple-image photogrammetry.
Prerequisites
