Course content
1. Introduction into remote sensing. Principles - electromagnetic radiation, landscape objects properties. 2. Digital image analysis - pre-processing, image enhancement, classification and analysis 3. Data acquiring systems - passive and active systems, satellite systems 4. Introduction into photogrammetry. History. Basic character of aerial imagery. 5. Aerial and base photogrammetry. Data sources. 6. Ways of processing and interpretation of aerial imagery. 7. Digital photogrammetry, orthophoto creation, mosaics and digital surface models. 8. Usage of RS data. New processes in RS. 9. Active data sensing - inSAR and LIDAR 10. Active data sensing - inSAR and LIDAR 11. Data processing in ENVI 12. Data processing in ENVI 13. Consultation 14. Semestral project presentation
